Spoke with a French chef today who had applied to French Govt to get his SCC.
So any chefs with French chef certs, STCW and ENG1 can apply to French Govt to get the ships cook certificate.

the info is right but one important thing is your documents have to be
french documents( ie: a stcw from the UK while recognized apparently will not be. accepted by france to obtain your certificat de cuisinier de navire, also eng1 Nope it have to be the french certificat delivered by the “medecins des gens de mer”
